Will the widespread adoption of BEVs strain our power grid beyond capacity? Could plugging in my BEV be the tipping point for our beloved electric grid, upon which we rely for countless daily activities? While this concern is voiced by personal BEV owners, it looms even larger for commercial fleet operators. Let’s explore this issue in greater detail.

Tuesday morning an agreement was announced between ChargePoint, America’s largest charging network, and FLO, the largest network in Canada.

Researchers at North Carolina State University have built an electric vehicle fast charger that is at least 10 times smaller than existing systems and wastes 60 percent less power during the charging process, without sacrificing the charging time.
