Duke Energy plans to install up to 530 public charging stations within its Florida service area, and has also launched a three-year study to research the impact of residential EV charging on the electric grid.

Electric vehicle charging continues to surge, a move that will only hasten the adoption of electric cars and other vehicles such as commercial trucks.
