I’ve been driving an electric vehicle (EV) for over a decade, and one of the most consistent questions I get asked by non-EV drivers is whether I can take my EV on a road trip. The answer is, heck yeah!

The problem with charging an EV on 120V is one of perception.  A lot has been written about requiring multiple days to charge on a common 120V receptacle, but the truth often escapes before anyone ever tries it.
