It is a little known fact that Florida is second in the country in the number of electric vehicles on the road. But at the same time, many consumers and decisionmakers may not know very much about the electric vehicle (EV) market in Florida or have misperceptions about EVs. EVs have many benefits for consumers and society at large and should be encouraged by public policy. The purpose of this webinar “Electric Vehicles: Myths and Facts for Decisionmakers” is to help policymakers and members of the public understand some of the benefits of EVs to Florida consumers and perhaps clear up some of the misperceptions or concerns that people have regarding growth of the EV market in the State.
